The Corrections Committee connects A.A. with correctional facilities within District 23. These include the MA Department of Corrections (DOC) Framingham Womens facility.

Corrections committee responsibilities include:

• Attend Area 30 Corrections Committee meetings, see aaemass.org/Committees/Corrections/
• Become familiar with the information in the GSO Corrections Workbook.
• Share corrections literature and information at AA meetings.
• Bring AA literature and/or meetings into corrections facilities.
• Donate Grapevines/La Viñas to corrections facilities.
• Become a Prerelease Contact for people leaving facilities (see below).
• Write letters via the Corrections Correspondence program (see below).
